Nadine and I made it to Lexington, KY with enough time to see Cursive perform a free 6 song acoustic set at CD Central before the show later that evening at The Dame.
I used the voice recorder app to bootleg the show. The acoustic set was great and I’m hoping that at some point cursive put out some sort of acoustic “best of” album or something, that would be great. Anyways, the recordings are not bad considering I recorded them from my shirt pocket. enjoy!
I’ve uploaded a new Fault dub, 2034. This is a rough cut of the track that will appear on the upcoming Terminal Dusk various artist release, Obsidian. 6blocc, Physical and Droid Sector will be on this record as well.
Have a listen to Fault – 2034 and let me know what you think.
A few months back Rusuden and I got together for a weekend of music making. Our goal was to use as much hardware as possible to create some acid techno tracks. We get together to mash up some music about every two years. In this session we came out with 5 tracks or jams we recorded.
Last night, I “Dj”d at the Feralmade gallery. I say “DJ”d because last night DJ Empirical, Nadine, Jack and myself had a discuss about what DJing was in each of our views. some were more liberal than others placing the line at actual vinyl on turntables or CD decks. Others went as far to say that itunes can be used and someone can still call themselves a “DJ”. What is your DJ line?
Anyways, here is a set list of what was played last night.
The Dusk Governor and I are working on an ultra sick remix for the Manasyt 12″ that will be coming out on Terminal Dusk in the late months of 2006. In addition to that remix, look out for a track that I will have on the Byelebana label and a split dub 12″ coming out with Emotional Joystick (yes, it’s finally happening).
