Kentucky.gov has partnered with Kentucky state government to provide web presence and applications since 1998. In collaboration with all levels of state government ranging from the Governor’s Office to various boards and agencies to local city police departments Kentucky.gov is responsible for assisting in the exploration and improvement of access to public information.

Kentucky.gov hosts 200+ websites and 75+ applications. Our goals include expanding the base of users who can access public information as well as increasing the amount and availability of public information and online services from the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist project management with gathering requirements
  • Propose creative and strategic direction and initiatives
  • Layout design of MCMS and MOSS templates
  • Design and maintain application interfaces
  • Manage and mentor creative team
  • Stay abreast of technological political and legal changes
  • Know federal 508 and W3C requirements
  • Strive to lead industry in portal design, usability, information architecture, and meaningful useful applications
  • Educate and advise partners and staff on industry standards and best practices
  • Wireframe, design and implement custom websites
